Familiarise yourself with your organisation's safeguarding policies, procedures and systems. They are there to support you in your safeguarding responsibilities.

This module has explored the background to safeguarding, including why it is important, who is being safeguarded and what they are being protected from.

The next module looks at how an ongoing culture of vigilance can help ensure a safer learning environment.
