• Identifying which roles have particular responsibilities.
• Providing training and development to raise awareness.
• Creating clear policies and guidance.
• Giving staff and learners the confidence to act.

• Describe ways to ensure that safeguarding is embedded in the culture of an organisation.
• Identify responsibilities for safeguarding.
• Formulate a plan to remedy any shortcomings in your organisation.
