Abuse by other learners

As mentioned on the previous screen, other learners can also be in a position to abuse. This programme does not deal with this specifically, but it is important to consider this in your safeguarding duties.

Learner-on-learner abuse can take any of the forms previously described. Bullying can be particularly prevalent.

Risk assessments of vulnerable learners should be carried out with this in mind to ensure that they can be safeguarded effectively.

If you have any concerns about learner-on-learner abuse, speak to your Designated Person for advice and guidance.
