Supporting safeguarding
The policies, procedures and systems that support an organisation's approach to safeguarding should be based on legislative requirements.
Think about which safeguarding policies, procedures and systems you might find in an organisation. What arrangements does your organisation have?
You may have different policies to these, but they should cover all of these areas.

Some of the policies, procedures and systems that should exist as an effective framework for a safer learning environment:
Safeguarding policy.
Safer recruitment policy.
Equality and diversity policy.
Anti-bullying policy, including cyber-bullying.
Acceptable use of technology policy.
Whistle-blowing policy.
Programme of induction and training for staff.
Code of professional conduct for staff.
Supervision for staff.
