About this unit

This unit is aimed at employers who have responsibility for apprentices and other work-based learning employees. It will be particularly beneficial to staff involved in developing the safeguarding agenda in their own organisation.

You need to work through Module 1 of this course prior to undertaking this unit. This will give you a broad understanding of safeguarding and its aims.

This unit will help you to recognise and understand your own legal and contractual responsibilities around safeguarding in relation to young people and adults.
